Sunny Skies Enterprise CIC is a non-profit, nurturing space for it’s volunteers to run and develop social enterprises which positively impact the local community. Our volunteers currently run the Sunny Skies Community Café at Melton Country Park, promoting independence, providing valuable confidence and work skills while creating greater value and visibility of adults with learning disabilities.
We are a team of passionate, community minded people that focus on positive social outcomes and progression, with well-being and inclusion as our main objective. We provide opportunities to help people discover their full potential.

Our volunteers currently run the Sunny Skies Community Café at Melton Country Park, promoting independence, and providing valuable confidence and work skills while creating greater value and visibility for adults with learning disabilities in their communities.
We offer customers a relaxed and friendly environment to enjoy freshly made goods by our workers alongside selling crafts they have made by hand. Our Cafe is all about serving customers, preparing meals for local community groups, developing money skills, learning hospitality, safe handling of food, understanding till systems.

Helping the Community
At our Sunny Skies Café we support many community groups.
Opportunities at the café are available to all who are willing. Other than services to the wider community, dog walker specials etc. we also provide weekly community events to charities and displaced groups. At the café on Sundays, Mondays and Tuesdays we support local people struggling with their mental health.
Monday mornings we also have ‘caring for carers’ providing meet up opportunities for carers with free drinks. Wednesday mornings we serve Veterans Breakfast and also support AFVBC and Combat Stress. Wednesday lunch time we have ‘Winner Winner community dinner’ for those living with dementia or in isolation.
Sunny Skies Enterprise is also able to sell and promote items at the café that have been made by adults with disabilities in our other enterprises eg, flower arrangements, handmade cards, seasonal crafts.
