We are excited to announce that this year’s Walk for Welly’s is happening this month! We’d like to invite all of you to get involved to help us raise funds to grow our brand-new Sunny Space.
Walk for Welly’s is our annual walking challenge. We ask everyone in our community to walk up to 10 miles during the month of June to raise funds for Sunny Skies Enterprises CIC. Every step counts towards us reaching our goal.
On Sunday 29 June we will have our annual celebration day, our ‘WellyFest’, where we bring everyone together for a day of music, games, and food at our Sunny Skies Cafe. Throughout the day, Welly’s Workers and staff will do laps of the country park to reach their 10-mile target. It’s always a fantastic day! Please put the date in your diary and invite your friends and family.
This year all the funds from Walk for Welly’s will go towards our new Sunny Space. We need approximately £5,000 to install wheelchair-accessible paths across the site. We are also fundraising to buy new gardening tools and equipment, install sheltered eating areas, and create a sensory garden.
